1) are recognized as subjects of small and medium-sized businesses in accordance with the Business Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) carry out one or more types of activities defined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the purposes of applying this regime.
The calculation of the CPN or PII, with the exception of taxes withheld at the source of payment, when applying the SNR of retail tax is made by the taxpayer independently by applying a rate of 3% to the object of taxation for the reporting tax period.
The tax period for applying the SNR retail tax is a calendar quarter.
Payment to the budget of the taxes specified in the declaration for taxpayers applying the SNR of retail tax is made no later than the 25th day of the second month following the reporting tax period.
It should also be noted that according to the addition made to paragraph 1, paragraph 2, Article 482 of the Tax Code, taxpayers applying the SNR of retail tax are not social tax payers.
The SNR of the retail tax will be applied in the period from January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2023 (for two years).
The transition to the SNR of retail tax is possible with the generally established tax procedure or other SNR.
Payers of value added tax (hereinafter referred to as VAT), in the event of switching to the retail tax SNR, must submit a tax application for removal from the VAT registration no later than five working days before the start of the application of such a SNR.
For the purposes of VAT registration, the minimum turnover does not include the turnover of the taxpayer applying the retail tax SNR.
