A population census will be conducted

Conducting a population census is a particularly important event for any State. Thanks to the population census, the most accurate population size and its ethnic composition are calculated, and a comparative analysis is made with previous population censuses. The results of the population census make it possible to establish a development plan in the future for the state, and this will also be the basis for making management decisions that will serve as a forecast for the development of the economy. In Kazakhstan, a population census is conducted every 10 years. The last census was conducted in 2009, respectively, was carried out in 2019. However, we know that due to organizational problems in the preparatory work for the census, it was decided to hold all the events in 2020. Due to the risk of the spread of coronavirus infections, which has spread all over the world and taking into account the restrictive measures taken, the date of the census was postponed to 2021.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 587 of June 16, 2020 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 419 of June 19, 2019 "On Conducting the Population Census of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2020", the deadline for conducting the population census was set for October 1-30, 2021. By the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a commission was established to solve organizational and managerial problems during the population census in 2021.

The population census in 2021 will consist of 2 periods. In the first period of the Population Census (from June 1 to June 30, 2021), census zoning of localities will be performed, that is, to clarify the population, residential and non-residential buildings will be bypassed. In the second period of the Population Census (from October 1 to October 30, 2021), the main part of the population census will be conducted, which includes an Internet survey and a continuous population survey. The peculiarity of the current Population Census is that it is conducted online. The online survey will be conducted from September 1 to October 15. You will be logged in to the online survey from the website www.sanaq.gov.kz. Login to the site will be available around the clock. Citizens, regardless of their location, with the help of a virtual assistant, can take the census independently, filling out a questionnaire for themselves and for their entire family. This will make it possible to conduct the census quickly and without any mistakes. And thanks to trained interviewers, who will make a tour of each house and apartment, based on data from the resident, will collect information and conduct a continuous survey of the population. This will be necessary in order to reach citizens who did not pass the online survey on their own. All these activities will be carried out from 1 to 30 October 2021, in compliance with the relevant sanitary standards. As part of the support of citizens ' appeals, a Contact Center will function: 1446 for city numbers, the call is free, 88000800878 for mobile operators, the call is free.

In accordance with the activities carried out in the country, the necessary work is also being carried out in our district to conduct a population census. At the moment, work is being carried out to clarify the administrative-territorial lists and their borders, to put in order the names of streets, numbers of houses and apartments, to hang out full houses. Starting from May 4 to November 30, 21 census commissioners were hired. These commissioners are already working on the zoning of localities in the district. In addition, from May 25 to July 8, 11 instructors-supervisors will be hired, and starting from June 1, 80 people will be hired as registrars. All these employees will perform their work in compliance with sanitary standards.
