The Law" On Combating Corruption " regulates public relations in the field of combating corruption and is aimed at implementing the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The fight against corruption is identified as one of the main priorities of state policy. This is also a priority for the state revenue authorities. Corruption has the most negative impact on the image of state revenue agencies, undermines the trust of taxpayers and foreign trade participants, threatens the development of the state's market economy, and harms economic and national security.
Every citizen should understand the consequences of committing corruption offenses, and we all need to understand that corruption offenses do not remain unpunished.
Article 4 of the Anti-Corruption Law provides for the following basic principles of anti-corruption
Anti-corruption is carried out on the basis of the following principles::
1) legality;
2) the priority of protecting the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen;
3) transparency and transparency;
4) interaction of the state and civil society;
5) systematic and integrated use of anti-corruption measures;
6) priority application of corruption prevention measures;
7) encouraging persons who assist in combating corruption;
8) the inevitability of punishment for committing corruption offenses.
The State Revenue Department, within its competence, conducts certain work on the prevention and counteraction of corruption.
As part of the implementation of the requirements of the Law, the state revenue authorities conduct explanatory activities on an ongoing basis.
So for the 1st quarter of 2021, 99 % of public services in the department were provided in electronic form (acceptance of tax reporting forms, tax applications for suspension of activities, for obtaining certificates of absence and/ or presence of arrears, suspension of tax reporting, conducting offsets and refunds, registration for VAT registration, registration of KKM), a total of 11,446 services were provided.
The presentation of public services in electronic form makes it possible to reduce corruption risks. It is convenient to get services without leaving your home or office, do not waste time visiting the tax authorities and do not stand in queues. In electronic form, you can send an appeal via the e-government portal, which also makes it possible to receive a response to applications in electronic form.
