Universal declaration of income and property

Universal declaration in the Republic of Kazakhstan is being implemented in stages from 2021.

 

At the first stage, starting from January 1, 2021, it is proposed to start declaring civil servants and their spouses, as well as persons equated to them and their spouses.

At the second stage, starting from January 1, 2023, employees of state – owned enterprises (including education, health, culture, sports, etc.) and their spouses will participate.

At the third stage, starting from January 1, 2024 – the heads and founders of legal entities and their spouses, individual entrepreneurs and their spouses.

At the fourth stage, from January 1, 2025, the remaining categories of the population will be included.

In the future, the population will submit an annual declaration of income received, acquired property.

Deadlines for submitting declarations

There are 2 deadlines for submitting declarations:

no later than July 15 – on paper;
no later than September 15 – in electronic form.
