On the direct instructions of the head of State, Nursultan Abishevich, work is underway to finance rural settlements. This initiative was discussed and adopted at the XVIII Congress of the Nur Otan Party on February 27, 2019.

The main goal of the project is to bring rural settlements with high potential into the system of regional standards, modernize the social environment of villages and promote labor in the regions.

In total, there are 732 rural settlements in the region, where 80% of the region's population lives, i.e. 1.5 million people. the man lives. Of these, 457 villages have high and medium potential, the largest share in the country. Of the 20 district centers, 10 are located in the village.

In the period from 2019 to 2020, 95 projects were covered for the repair and reconstruction of social and engineering infrastructure.

Last year, 45 projects were implemented in 7 district centers. These are the repair of drinking water, heating, sewerage systems, rural roads, and landscaping.

In 2020, within the framework of the special project" Auyl-El besigi", 50 projects are being implemented in the region, including 11 projects for major repairs of educational facilities, 2 projects for healthcare, 28 projects for Public Utilities and road repairs, and 9 projects for Culture and sports.

In addition, it is planned to put into operation 4 sports and recreation complexes, the construction of which began in 2019. This facility has started its work in Dostyk village of Alakol district.

Until 2026, 150.8 billion tenge will be allocated to Almaty region under the Special Project "Auyl-El besigi". it is planned to allocate tenge. These funds are planned to carry out major repairs of 57 educational facilities, 43 health centers, 38 cultural centers, as well as the construction of 9 sports and recreation complexes and 39 rural houses of culture.
