Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a special speech after the dedication of the Koran. The President of Kazakhstan said that this year began with a tragedy for our country, our people went through very difficult times.

- The integrity of our state, the security of our citizens, the future of our country is under threat. We repulsed the terrorists in time and repulsed them. Unfortunately, several of our citizens died in the panic. This is a real tragedy. At present, the relevant authorities are investigating every case of citizens. Protecting human rights is very important to me. The tragedy broke the walls of the entire country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
In this regard, the President recalled that the National Day of Mourning had been declared.

- 40 days have passed since that tragic event. Today I came to the mosque to dedicate the Qur'an to the spirits of the dead. My condolences to the families of the victims. The state does not leave black families unattended. I instructed to provide material assistance to the families of the victims, the President said.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that he believes that the People of Kazakhstan Foundation will also take part in this charitable work, and now it is impossible to disturb the peace of our people.

- We will not allow the unity and peace of our people to be violated. This is a common duty not only of the authorities, but of all our citizens. May such a tragedy never happen!” the President said.
At the end of his speech, the President wished the people of Kazakhstan patience, well-being to our country, peace, and also called on the younger generation to become a whole country and build a new Kazakhstan together.
