A meeting was held on the topic «Independence is the foundation»

Today, the Department of religious affairs of the Almaty region, together with the Youth resource center, held a meeting «Independence is the foundation» with students of Taldykorgan polytechnic college and Taldykorgan higher medical college. The event was attended as lecturers by ustaz of the «IMAN» mosque Nursultan Mukiyat, a specialist in religious studies at the Yestai Kalmurat Research center, who held a conversation with the student youth.

The purpose of the meeting is to instill a sense of patriotism by explaining the principles of independence, promoting the virtues of spirituality, high intelligence, friendship, solidarity, love for the country and the land.

Within the framework of the event, issues of the 30th anniversary of independence, national values, bad habits among young people, religious literacy were touched upon. At the same time, topics related to radical religious ideology, extremist properties of destructive groups were touched upon. And also, information about the activities of destructive organizations has been suppressed, which completely contradicts the principles of true religion and work in the Internet space. Materials on the following topics were distributed to the participants: «Let's save the youth from alienation», «Youth and religion: present and future», «Traditional values and continuity of spiritual education».

More than 120 people were covered in the event held in compliance with quarantine requirements.
