A meeting with young people was held

Today, a meeting with student youth was held in the "Alakol humanitarian and technical college" of the Alakol district of the Almaty region. The event on the topic "Improving religious literacy" was attended by a specialist-religious scholar of the Center for the study of problems in the field of religion Akzhol Asanov, who held a free conversation with young people.

The purpose of the event is to inform young people about non-traditional religious movements and their harm, increase religious literacy. In addition, to give a deep understanding of religious extremism and terrorism.

During the event, ways of protecting against fake, dangerous sites in social networks were announced, detailed explanations were given about religious activities and the laws of religious associations, about extremism, terrorism.  The issues of prevention of melting in the drive of someone else's current, the formation of immunity against it were also discussed.

At the meeting, questions were asked on religious issues and answers were given by specialists. 30 people took part in the event in compliance with the requirements of quarantine.
