A training course for ARG (Awareness-raising group) members has started

Today, in accordance with the work plan of the CGI "Center for research of problems in the field of religion" for 2021, a two-day online training course for the staff of regional ARG’s in the direction of "effective organization of IRR and countering the ideology of destructive religious movements in the Internet space" has started. The first day of the course, organized in an online format, was attended by members of the information and explanatory group for the Taldykorgan region and the city of Tekeli, as well as members of the ARG of the Sarkand, Alakol, Eskeldi, Kerbulak, Panfilov, Koksu, Karatal, Aksu districts. The purpose of the event, which has already become a traditional event, is to improve the skills of members of the ARG of the region in order to implement the state program on countering religious extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2022 and the comprehensive plan for the implementation of the state policy in the religious sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023. The course was moderated by the deputy director of the center Zhanabay Sagynysh Askarovich. Members of the republican ARG, teachers of Al-Farabi KazNU and Kazntu named after Al-Farabi were involved as lecturers Abaya K.Mutebayev, Zh.Kantarbayeva, A. Shagirbayev, E. Berikbayev and R. Seitkaziev. A total of 157 people took part in the first day of the training course.
