ARG was conducted with residents of the Koksu district

In order to implement the "State program on countering religious extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2022" and increase religious literacy of the population, on June 30, information and explanatory work was carried out among residents of the rural districts of Zharlyozek, Mukanchi, Mukuru and Labasy of the Koksu district on the following topics: "Destructive religious trends are a disease of society", "Youth and religion", "Faith is the key to the development of society", "Religion is the spiritual support of a secular state". The meeting was attended by a specialist-a religious scholar of the highest level of qualification Asanov Akzhol Maratovich and a regional specialist - a religious scholar Maksat Bektemirov. During the event, such topics as radical religious ideology and extremist properties of destructive groups, the principles of secularism of society and improving the religious literacy of young people, the work of destructive groups in the Internet space were highlighted. At the event, the youth of the village and employees of state institutions, the marginal part of the population asked topical questions and exchanged views. At the meeting, held in compliance with the requirements of quarantine, 120 people were covered.
