A competition among women was held

Today, a competition called "Ancestral traditions – a priceless gift" was held with the participation of women-zhamagats of 8 mosques of the Zhambyl district of Almaty region. The celebration of Nauryz in the Shynasyl mosque was organized with the assistance of 8 mosques of the district and the CGI "Center for the rehabilitation of victims of religious extremism and adherents of destructive cults".

The participants of the festival competed in the ability to prepare a national dish – "Nauryz kozhe", in the knowledge of traditions and national costumes, and also answered questions about Nauryz. The jury of the competition included the head of the women's sector of the Almaty region Maigul Aitbayevna, the head of the ensemble "Ak azheler" Kumys Parmashovna, the head of the department of the CGI "Center for the rehabilitation of victims of religious extremism and adherents of destructive cults" Aliya Bauyrzhanovna, who determined the winners of the competition. According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the Aksengir mosque, the second place was taken by the Uzynagash mosque, and the third place was taken by the Shienskaya Rural Mosque.
