Meeting with the head of the Roman catholic church

On March 9, this year, the director of the CGI "Center for the study of problems in the sphere of religions" Nurlan Baigozhanvich held a meeting with a citizen of the republic of Lithuania, the head of the Roman catholic church in the Karasai, Panfilov, Kerbulak districts of Almaty region, a missionary Shulchus Kastitis.

The participants of the meeting discussed the development of state-confessional relations, strengthening inter-religious dialogue and inter-confessional harmony, as well as the state of religious buildings of religious associations in the Kerbulak and Panfilov districts and the work on their conversion as religious buildings. Today, there are 5 religious associations and 6 branches of the Roman catholic church in the region.
