On the initiative of the Department of religious affairs of the Almaty region, in order to cover topical topics on religious issues in society, a competition of social videos on the topic “No extremism!” was announced. More than twenty videos submitted for the competition were viewed and judged by the jury of the office of religious affairs. The jury included a well-known journalist, deputy editor-in-chief of the regional newspaper "Zhetysu" Zhumatai Ospanovich, a member of the regional outreach team, a well-known religious scholar-psychologist Kanat Maratovich, a well-known director Yerlan Ushakpaev. Several places and prizes were awarded for the competition. In addition to places 1, 2 and 3, four nominations were considered: "Best social video", "Best idea", "Most beautiful video", "Best director's work".

The results of the competition, in which significant funds were invested, were approved by the jury. On November 27, winners and holders of nominations will be invited, and prizes will be awarded in a solemn atmosphere.
