A meeting of the council for relations with religious Associations under the Akimat of Almaty region was held

At the meeting chaired by the deputy akim of the Almaty region Rustam Aliyevich under the "ZOOM" program, the deputy akims of the Kerbulak, Ili, Aksu, Raiymbek districts made a presentation on the analysis of the religious situation in the region and problematic aspects in the sphere of state-confessional relations and their implementation. In addition, the main imams of the representative offices of the Spiritual directorate of Muslims of Kazakhstan in the Almaty and Taldykorgan regions Narzhanov Kuanysh Bakhytbekovich and Orazbayev Ardak Nusipkhanovich on the basis of the platform “Zheti ruhani kazyk” spoke about the measures taken to prevent the ideas of extremism and radicalism, as well as about problematic issues arising in in the course of activities and rehabilitation work with supporters of destructive religious movements, gave concrete answers to questions of interest. In turn, the head of the regional department for religious affairs, Esdauletov Rakhmet Razbekovich, spoke about the implementation of the protocol decisions of the Council meeting held in December 2019. At the end of the meeting, Rustam Alievich also noted that it is necessary to pay close attention to the issues of control and implementation of further work.
