"Spiritual harmony is the basis of stability"

Kazakhstan, as a sovereign, secular and democratic state, traditionally celebrates the Day of Spiritual Harmony. Within the framework of the day of spiritual harmony, a solemn reception of the deputy akim of the Almaty region of leaders of religious associations, organized by the department of religious affairs, took place. During the event, which was attended by the deputy akim of the Almaty region, heads of public organizations and religious associations, representatives of the Council of veterans, the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, heads of departments, religious scholars, representatives of the media, a photo-book exhibition and a video film "Spiritual harmony - the foundation stability ". A lot of work is being done in our region to preserve interfaith harmony and stability. We believe that today's peaceful coexistence of different nationalities and religions, the stability of the religious situation is the result of the tireless work of state bodies and clergy. Deputy akim of the region Rustam Ali noted that a number of such fruitful works by the clergy were highly appreciated during the pandemic. As part of the event, the clergy who contributed to the development of interfaith harmony and spiritual and moral values, as well as exemplary religious institutions known for their unique creativity, promoting the religious and historical values ​​of our secular state, contributing to the spiritual development of the region and citizens engaged in charity were awarded letters of thanks akim of the region in the nominations: "High spiritual service", "Exemplary religious institution", "Spiritual guidance", "Good deed". A total of 50 active citizens received letters of thanks and valuable gifts.
