Dear teachers, graduates of pedagogical specialties of higher educational institutions!

In order to improve the quality of education in regions with a shortage of teachers, we invite qualified and motivated teachers, as well as the best graduates of pedagogical specialties of higher educational institutions of the country to work in the Almaty region.

The Department of Education of the Almaty region of the region announces a competition for vacant positions of teachers in accordance with the Rules for attracting the best teachers with an appropriate package of support measures for regions with a shortage of teachers (hereinafter referred to as the Special Program), approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 13, 2022 No. 390.

The competition is open to teachers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regardless of their place of residence, who have higher pedagogical, higher professional and (or) postgraduate education in the relevant profiles (who have undergone pedagogical retraining on the basis of organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education), who have the qualification categories "teacher-expert", "teacher-researcher", "teacher-master", as well as graduates of pedagogical specialties of higher educational institutions. (in the humanities with an average academic achievement score (GPA) of at least 3.5, in the natural-mathematical direction with an average academic achievement score (GPA) of at least 3.2, as well as graduates of the master's degree in pedagogical specialties with an average academic achievement score (GPA) of at least 3.4)

The main principles of the competition are equality of rights of all applicants regardless of their place of residence, fair competition among applicants, objectivity, transparency, publicity of the event.

The competition includes:

1) announcement of the contest;

2) acceptance of documents;

3) computer testing and essays;

4) interview.

To participate in the competition, the candidate must send an application with the following documents attached: (in the form according to Annex 1 to the Rules for Attracting the best teachers with an appropriate package of support measures for regions with a shortage of teachers)

1) a copy of the identity document;

2) a copy of the document confirming the work activity, certified by the signature of the head of the educational organization (if any);

3) a copy of the document on education or a transcript (Transcript) for graduates of pedagogical specialties of universities;

4) certificate of national qualification testing for graduates of pedagogical specialties of universities;

5) resume with photo;

6) a copy of the document on education and qualifications for teachers;

7) 3x4 photo in electronic format;

8) medical certificate of health status in the form approved by the order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 No. KR DSM-175/2020 "On approval of forms of accounting documentation in the field of healthcare" (form 075);

9) additional information (copies of documents on professional development, awarding academic and academic degrees, professional achievements and publications, etc.).

Teachers, graduates of pedagogical specialties of higher educational institutions who have passed a competitive selection and become participants in a Special program are provided with a package of incentive support measures, which includes an additional payment of 150% of the official salary calculated in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 11, 2020 No. 191 "On approval of the Rules for calculating teachers' salaries state organizations", at the expense of targeted transfers from the republican budget.
