The Department of Education of the Almaty region on November 15, 2022 in the city of Konaev held a regional chess tournament for the "Cup of the head of the Department of Education" among the directors of educational institutions of the region.

According to the results of the tournament: the Grand Prix was won by the director of the Rayymbek district of the T.Zhanuzakov secondary school M.Stybekov, the I-place director of the Enbekshikazakh district of the Zhambyl secondary school M.Idrisov, the II-place director of the Zhambyl district of the Kazybekbek secondary school D. Tajimagambetov, the III-place director of the Kegensky district of the A.Turkebayev secondary school B.Mombekov took prizes and they were awarded cups, medals and certificates of honor by the head of the Department of Education.
