Kulyash Shamshidinova became a commissioner of the Global Commission on Education in Asia

Chairman of the Board of the autonomous educational organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" Kulyash Shamshidinova has been appointed commissioner in the Asian Hub of the Global Commission on Education. For the first time, a representative of Kazakhstan entered the EU – top leaders of the world educational ecosystem.

The Education Commission was established in 2015 for global cooperation in education and rapid response to new challenges of the time. The Commission's strategic priorities include further progress towards achieving the 4th Millennium Development Goal in the field of sustainable development, including inclusive and equitable quality of education, as well as opportunities for lifelong learning.

In 2019, the Commission, as part of the "High Touch High Tech for All" (HTHT) mission, decided to create an Asian Hub (ECA) with headquarters in Seoul to accelerate the global transformation in learning. For many countries, South Korea can serve as an example of how the potential of education works for economic growth and strengthening democracy.

Already today, the Asian Hub has become a unique platform for the integration of all interested structures implementing personalized learning based on artificial intelligence. "High Touch High Tech for All" – "Highly Sensitive high Technologies for All" has been chosen as a priority direction that eliminates gaps and inequalities in education, as well as promotes innovation. After a pandemic that highlighted inequality and deepened the learning crisis, the Asian Hub intends to use today's global attention to education to turn the crisis into opportunities. A special mission is assigned to the commissioners, who act as project advisors, representatives of "HTHT for All" and facilitators of global partnerships.

– We believe that the goal of High Touch High Tech for All can be realized only through the combined efforts of outstanding leaders of the educational ecosystem. I believe that your participation will be crucial for expanding the global presence of the ECA and promoting fundamental and long overdue innovations in education," said the chairman of the Asian Hub, Joo Ho Lee, in a letter to Kulyash Shamshidinova.
