In order to provide methodological assistance to speech therapists, speech pathologists, teachers-psychologists of preschool institutions, a practical platform "Development of cognitive abilities of children with special educational needs of preschool age" was held.

During the work, the teacher-psychologist, speech pathologist-sign language teacher of the psychological and pedagogical correction office No. 19 of the Zhambyl district M.Adilbayeva and K.Suleimenov told about the peculiarities of the development of cognitive processes of children with special educational needs and presented effective methods of diagnosis and correctional and developmental work. Also, T.Zhaksylyk, a teacher-psychologist of kindergarten No. 45 "Arman" in Taldykorgan, shared her experience in planning the activities of a teacher-psychologist in kindergarten. Speech therapists, speech pathologists, educational psychologists of public and private kindergartens took part in the event.
