Daniel Filimonov, a graduate of NIS Taldykorgan, has launched a free online course on robotics "Beyond Robotics"⠀

A 2020 graduate of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan, today a student of the Nazarbayev University, Daniil Filimonov has launched a free online course on robotics "Beyond Robotics". The course includes webinars and online lessons from the best Kazakhstani robotics trainers and professors from American universities. ⠀

The training takes place on the basis of the online school of the public foundation "Beyond Curriculum". ⠀

– From an early age, I was attracted to the idea of designing, so I signed up for a robotics class at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. I could not even imagine that our projects would be presented on the international stage, at the World Robot Olympiad WRO. There were a lot of victories, and now I set a new goal, to help everyone who wants to learn robotics, " Daniel admitted. ⠀

Daniil Filimonov is the winner of the third place in the "Open Senior" category at the international stage of the World Robot Olympiad 2019, as well as gold medals of the Republican Olympiad in robotics (2018, 2019), the first degree diploma of the international competition in space research (2019), the second degree diploma of the Nauryz meetings "Cosmos. The science. Intellect" (2019). ⠀

Together with his team, Daniel has developed more than 10 free online courses in robotics, 25 hours of lessons, 6 webinars, and prepared hundreds of additional materials from Cornell and Michigan Universities. ⠀

The training is designed for participants with any level of training: from the basics of robotics to neural networks, to work with tools in practice, and even materials for teachers. The platform also has homework assignments and tests to monitor progress. The materials are available in both Russian and Kazakh. ⠀

The course was created with the support of the public foundation "Beyond Curriculum", the founder of which is Anton Morgunov. Anton is a graduate of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan in 2017, a multiple winner and prize-winner of international and national Olympiads in chemistry, today a student of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).⠀

Beyond Curriculum is an educational platform that provides free access to knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and geography for free. ⠀
