Prevention of offenses and crimes among minors

On February 10, 2021, in order to prevent juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, and sexual integrity against minors, the Department of Education held an online seminar-meeting on the topic "Prevention of offenses and crimes among minors".

The seminar-meeting was attended by representatives of the regional prosecutor's office, the Local Police Service department of the Police Department, the regional women's support center, specialists of the education departments of districts and cities of the region, deputy school directors for educational work, and the parent community.

During the event, issues of offenses, sexual inviolability in relation to minors were discussed, as well as reports from specialists of education departments on the reasons for their commission were heard.

In accordance with the" Action Plan to improve the level of legal literacy of students and parents for 2021-2022", the Department of Education proposed with the participation of representatives of the regional prosecutor's Office, the Police Department, the Department of Education, Health, and Youth Policy to conduct legal education for parents and students in the districts and cities of the region.
