Experience and results in the WorldSkills movement

The Department of Technical and professional education of the regional educational and Methodological center for the development of education, together with the competence center created within the framework of the project "Young Specialist", on the basis of the Almaty Regional College of Innovative Technologies in the field of service and Nutrition, held a training seminar for teachers of the specialty "Catering".

During the seminar, ECOBER representatives demonstrated modern equipment installed in the Worldskills Competence Center for the specialty "Cook". Masters of industrial training of the Almaty Regional College of Innovative Technologies in the field of service and Nutrition, the winner of the republican contest "Best Teacher - 2020" A. Kabdulina and social partners showed master classes on the implementation of WorldSkills tasks and criteria assessment.

10 students took part in the demonstration exam on the competence "Cooking", and the assessment in accordance with the requirements of the World Cup was conducted by participants and social partners from Turkey, Russia and the city of Nursultan via online communication.

10 masters of industrial training performed practical work on the topic "Meat dishes" of the 3 modules of the "WorldSkills" standards.

The expert of the national championship Utepbergenova Gulnur Agibaevna in accordance with the requirements of the "WorldSkills" standard evaluated the work done and gave a review.

At the end of the seminar, the participants made a proposal to create an association of teachers of the specialty "Catering" in order to train qualified personnel and systematically improve their skills.
