Residents of the district reported problems in the district to regional deputies

One of the main problems of Balkhash district residents is the shortage of irrigation water.

This requires the construction of an inflatable dam on the Tasmurun Canal. Although this is an expensive project, agricultural is necessary for rational land use. It is necessary to clean the bed of the Topar River near Balatopar village. Desertification of the area near Birlik village also worries its residents.

These issues were discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the Regional Maslikhat Talgat Bayedilov.

Talgat Bayedilov noted that at the end of the year the budget of the region will be amended to provide for the allocation of funds for the issues raised.

"Without comprehensive development of districts it is impossible to bring the development of the whole region to a new level. Therefore, the main task of maslikhats is to contribute to the development of their region," said the chairman of the regional maslikhat.

At the next meeting, Bauyrzhan Daribayev, deputy akim of Balkhash district, asked the regional Maslikhat to assist in the expansion and improvement of the park named after Kunayev in Bakanas, reconstruction of arychi, network of two streets, major repairs of the house of culture in Zhideli village.

In addition, the deputies of the district maslikhat asked to allocate funds for major repairs of medical outpatient clinics in Bakbakty and Balatopar villages, separate vocational schools, college dormitories and workshops.

At the end of the trip Talgat Bayedilov visited the peasant farm "Bauyrzhan 7" in the region. According to the farmers, this year they expect good results from the harvest. On average, they plan to harvest 18 centners per hectare. All necessary equipment and labor resources are sufficient for successful completion of wheat harvesting.

The meeting of the Chairman of the Regional Maslikhat, which completed the working trip to Balkhash district, is planned in other districts as well. The main goal is prevention of problems that concern the villagers.

"During the meeting we were voiced a number of proposals, appeals, which we will study and allocate as much funds as possible," Talgat Bayedilov said.

He also noted that the standard of living of the population of Balkhash district has significantly increased, infrastructure has improved, and business activity has increased.
