Under the "Green Kazakhstan" program it is planned to carry out mechanical cleaning works along the length and mouth of the Ili River

It is planned to carry out works on mechanical cleaning along and at the mouth of the Ili River under the program "Green Kazakhstan" in order to fully divert water flowing from the Ili River into Lake Balkhash. Today, in order to prepare estimates for this project arrived special representatives of the regional department of natural resources and regulation of nature management and the city of Astana to determine and discuss the location where the cleaning work will be carried out on the Ili River and its mouth. The event was attended by Acting Akim of the rayon A. Kutpanbetov and Deputy Akim of the rayon B. Daribaev, Akims of Koktal and Karoy villages and relevant specialists.
