INTENSIVE WORK ON THE PROGRAMME OF PUID-2

Since November last year, work has been underway to clean water supply channels to irrigated sown areas in the Bakbaktinsky, Birliksky, Akdalinsky and Berekensky rural districts and replace hydraulic structures with new ones. It is worth noting that such large-scale work is carried out in our region for the first time in the years of development of the Akdala Valley.

The owner of the overhaul of the sown areas is the Water Resources Committee of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources. According to the PUID-2 program, scheduled for two years, it is planned that the TAMAS limited liability partnership, which took over the systematic implementation of large-scale work with a total area of 7481 hectares, will complete work in November of this year in accordance with the established schedule of work. In order to visualize the work carried out on the sowing fields under the program, Deputy Akim of the district Bauyrzhan Daribayev together with the head of the district department of agriculture Burkit Mukanov together with Otes-Akdala LLP, located in the Akdalinsky rural district, and Tamshybulak LLP of the Bereke rural district.

The head of the project, Bakytzhan Kosaev, said that in accordance with the planned schedule of 7481 hectares of irrigated areas, 135 km of channels and 139 km of drainage channels, as well as 240 km of intercontinental channels and 6,720 units of hydraulic structures will be cleaned.

According to Yerlan Tazhikulov, 5 excavators, 1 bulldozer, as well as other equipment necessary for work, and 35 people are provided with permanent work, are involved in the development of canals in sown fields. To date, 120 km of channels, 125 km of distillation channels, 154 km of intercontinental channels have been cleared in accordance with the planned work schedule. Work on the program will have enormous benefits from sown areas. Obviously, during regular excavations in the life support channels of the sown areas in the future, there will be no problem with the waterproofness of rice. During treatment of waste channels, rapid lifting of groundwater and pumping of sown areas is not allowed.
