How the central park of Almaty is changed

Today, 182 new lighting pillars have been installed on the territory of the central park, cobblestones have been laid on the sidewalks, and landscaping zones are increasing. The entrance arch of the park will be equipped with modern illumination.

The territory of the park is now divided into several thematic zones. In the center, where car parking was located earlier, sports grounds, a skate and a rollerdrome, a street-work, basketball and football fields were built.

Particular attention is paid to the restoration of old and the construction of new fountains. For example, the reconstruction of a fountain is completed, which has not worked for more than 10 years. On the eastern side of the summer stage, a dry fountain is being built using European equipment.

The main work will be completed before October this year. In addition, the management company will purchase new and modernized existing attractions.

It should be noted that the reconstruction of the historical center of the city is underway in Almaty.

Last year, the city authorities modernized the streets of Panfilov, Zhibek Zholy, Gogol, Kabanbay batyr, Tolebayev, Bayseitov and "Astana" square.

Prospects of Abay, Ablai khan, Dostyk, Nazarbayev, Zheltoksan, the station area "Almaty 2" and the square in front of the Palace of the Republic are covered in this year's repair.

The city has repaired 524 streets with a length of 500 km. Of all 3,877 Almaty courtyards, nearly 1,400 households have already been covered with amenities.

About 800 km of engineering networks were built and reconstructed. In the city, almost 300 km of aryk networks have also been renewed. All underground passages of the city have been repaired.
