Bakytzhan Sagintayev appreciated the transport infrastructure of Almaty

During the visit, the head of the city got acquainted with the state of the transport and municipal infrastructure, examined the social facilities of the district. The city governor reported on the work of the innovative e-ticketing system implemented by the "Almaty Transport Holding". The management of the enterprise is entrusted to improve this mechanism.

B.Sagintayev met with the residents of the Mamyr-4 residential district, where he inspected the renovated courtyards. Residents shared their vision regarding beautification. The district governor is instructed to take into account the opinions of citizens during the work on lighting and gardening.

In the area to be the line of outdoor lighting on 18 streets md. Dostyk, build sewage networks on 12 streets, repair heat points of 79 houses, water supply networks and roads.

The Almaty governor inspected the construction of the Dostyk metro station, located at the intersection of Abay Ave. B. Momyshuly. The new metro stations "Dostyk" and "Saryarka" with a length of 3 km will allow an increase in passenger traffic to 56%.

B.Sagintayev also heard reports on the development of the LRT construction project in Almaty. Improving transport infrastructure will increase passenger traffic, expand transportation links, and improve the environment in the city.
