New schools for almost 4 thousand places opened in Almaty

During the working detour, the Akim of the city visited the schools created for 1200 places in the microdistrict Mamyr, of the Auezov district and 600 places in the microdistrict Nurshashkan of the Turksib region. In addition, Bakytzhan Sagintayev examined new annexes to schools: for 300 places in the Bostandyk region, for 192 places in the microdistrict Karasu of the Alatau region, for 850 places in the micordistrict Duman of the Medeu region. The Akim of Almaty also visited the new building of the music school No. 5 for 350 seats and the private multifunctional music center, which recently opened.

 

During the inspection of schools, B. Sagintayev gave a number of instructions concerning the improvement and planting of greenery in the adjacent territories, the construction and repair of access roads and sidewalks. At the same time, the akim of the city drew the attention of directors of educational institutions to the need for strict observance of the rules of sanitary and epidemiological safety in the duty classes.

 

“New locations will relieve existing schools. For example, in Duman, the need for apprenticeships is now fully satisfied. And in Nurshashkan, this is the first constructed school, which will reduce the load on other schools in the Turksib region, ”said B. Sagintayev.

 

In general, this year, together with two schools and five annexes, more than 3.8 thousand student places have been created. Taking into account the active population growth rates, we are continuing the construction of four annexes to schools for 1925 places. Also, plans are being worked out for the construction of schools and outbuildings for almost 26 thousand places. Four private schools for 2240 places are planned to be opened.
