Heating season preparation is over in Almaty

During the working trip, the head of the city inspected the area of Tole bi street, where 5 km of heating networks were renewed. He gave a number of instructions for the improvement of the territory.

As informed by Almaty Energy and Utilities Department, in order to ensure the uninterrupted supply of heat to the central part of the city, next year the replacement of old pipes along Tole bi street will be continued from the east of Rozybakiev street and west of Utegen batyr street.

Nowadays, the readiness of the objects of education, public health and housing of the city for the upcoming heating season is 100%. The power complex is provided with emergency supplies of coal and fuel oil.

The elimination of the breakthroughs, identified during the hydraulic testing period, is being completed, after which the circulation regime will be launched on the heating networks.

Altogether 524 streets were repaired in Almaty, almost 1400 old yards. 300 km of irrigation ditches were built and reconstructed. All underground passages of the city have been updated. Until the end of the year, a third of all street lighting will be LED and energy-saving.
