The governor of Almaty met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany

The head of the city noted that the trade turnover between Almaty and Germany shows the positive dynamics. Almaty is interested in German "smart" technologies and innovative developments, attracting German business to the economy of the city .

In its turn, the Foreign Minister of Germany highlighted that Kazakhstan and Germany linked by strategic partnership. He noted that the annual business area’s forum "The Day of German Economy in Kazakhstan", which will be held in the autumn , in Almaty, will improve the reciprocally profitable business cooperation of both countries.

Niels Annen also appreciated the modernization of the pedestrian and transport infrastructure in the city.

"In my hometown of Hamburg, the BRT express bus project is also being realized, and public transport is actively developing. All of this makes the city attractive for business, for investors, stimulating the opening of new offices and productions, and, of course, for the citizens", - he said.
