Buses were renewed on several routes in Almaty

"Earlier we carried out transportation by buses older than 20 years, accordingly it was not always possible to observe the schedule, and there were complaints of passengers. Now, at our own expense, we purchased 30 Yutong buses of the Euro-5 ecological class with a total capacity of up to 70 people", - Kairat Yusupov, deputy director of Kaskelen Bus Park LLP, said.

These buses will serve the routes number 23 (settlement Kirgrauildy - pos. Besagash) and number 78 (a / in Sayakhat - Zhalpaksay settlement), carrying an average of 15 thousand passengers per day.

In addition, several more rolling stock units were bought by the Olzhas LTD vehicle fleet. Buses of medium capacity will be sent to Route 62, in addition to previously upgraded buses, where there is an increase in passenger traffic.

The head of the metropolis noted that the fleets updating the rolling stock will be supported, including by subsidizing. However, carriers need to improve the culture of driving drivers and the quality of services provided.

In general, until the end of the year, it is planned to increase the share of new public transport to 80%.
