In Almaty, reconstruction of the park "Yuzhny" will be completed within a month

As reported by the head of the department of natural resources and environmental management of the city Aset Masabaev, the work on the park's reconstruction was delayed by the contractor in connection with the filed complaint from one of the companies that took part in the contest. In addition, the project was adjusted taking into account the recommendations of residents and was sent for re-examination.

Earlier the governor of the city also noted that it’s necessary to adjust the project taking into account the needs of the population.

"Everything should be comfortable here: mothers with strollers, children, and elderly people who prefer to sit in silence. It should be understood that this is not an amusement park, but a recreational zone, therefore it is necessary to reduce the asphalting area, updating the coverage of existing tracks and paths, creating cozy, shaded spaces, using local lighting, not installing massive architectural forms", - Bauyrzhan Baibek said.

For today in park the basis under a stone block is laid, the water pipe for system of irrigation in the extent of 14 km is laid. Starting next week, installation of 180 lighting poles will begin. Taking into account the wishes of the residents of the district, the project provides for the installation of street furniture, children's playgrounds, a stationary toilet, the arrangement of a fenced area for walking dogs,

"It is necessary to complete everything within a month, at the same time everything should be qualitative. Here, in fact, not only residents of nearby houses, but also from other regions come to take a walk", - said the governor of the city.

It should be noted that earlier, after addressing the residents of the district to the governor of Almaty on the Nur Otan party site, the company TURKUAZ GROUP OF COMPANIES reported on the voluntary refusal to build a residential complex on the territory of the Yuzhny Park and transfer to the state of its site in the northern part of the park.
