Almaty’s governor ordered to continue the landscaping around the lake "Sayran"

This year, from the western side of the reservoir, work was done on the re-profiling of the slopes, repair of stairwells, planting a lawn for 7 hectares. In addition, as part of the improvement, lighting was carried out, asphalt pavement was laid, children's and sports grounds were equipped.

A similar work has been done on the east side, where street furniture and 130 new lighting poles are also installed, a vorquet-playground and a beach volleyball court are equipped. Created about 5 km of uninterrupted roads for jogging and cycling.

In turn, the mayor of the megapolis instructed to continue work on the improvement of the adjacent territory next year. District akimats are instructed to improve the zones in the immediate vicinity of the lake, as well as expand the number of children's and sports zones.

Altogether 524 streets were repaired in Almaty, almost 1400 old yards. 300 km of irrigation ditches and about 800 km of engineering networks were built and reconstructed. All underground passages of the city have been updated. Until the end of the year, a third of all street lighting will be LED and energy-saving.
