Bakytzhan Sagintayev ordered to increase police efficiency in ensuring public security

During the meeting, key issues of law enforcement and public security of the city were considered.

The governor of the city instructed to carry out qualitative changes in the work of the police. Revise the work of the patrol service and expand the network of video monitoring to promptly respond to offenses.

Strengthen information work, explain what is being done and how it will improve public safety for citizens.

The police department is to conduct an audit of local police stations, to make proposals for modernization.

“This work should be carried out with the public council, and on an ongoing basis and in close cooperation. The result should be a reduction in crime. People should feel safe, ”B.Sagintayev noted.

Members of the public council expressed their opinions and suggestions. The city governor also got acquainted with the work of the Law Enforcement Services Center, the functionality of the “ERAP” and “E-criminal case” systems of the Almaty Prosecutor’s Office and the project “21 steps to meet a safe city”.
