Comfortable conditions for buyers and sellers will appear after the modernization of the Tigrohaud market in Almaty

During a working detour and a reporting meeting with the population, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the modernization of the Tigrohaud market in the Auezovsky district of the city.

As part of the modernization, comfortable conditions will be created for both sellers and visitors of the shopping facility. The concrete foundation of the future two-storey shopping center is currently being poured.

After the modernization, the number of jobs will increase from 100 to 160.

According to the plan, the driveways to the shopping facility will be made of asphalt concrete, and the approaches, platforms and paths will be paved with paving slabs. The project provides parking for 40 parking spaces. It is also planned to install modern ventilation, air conditioning and lighting systems, provide access to sanitary facilities, and arrange recreation areas. Construction and installation work began in April 2024. They are scheduled to be completed in October 2025.

During the detour, the head of the city, Yerbolat Dosayev, noted that it is important to qualitatively carry out landscaping and landscaping of the adjacent territory and instructed the akim of the Auezovsky district to take control of the execution of each of the stages of construction work.

The Mayor noted that within the framework of polycentric development, the population should have access to such shopping complexes.

Zhanar Kurabayeva, General Director of Tigrohaud Firm LLP, thanked the Akimat of the city, noting that the akim's proposal for the operation of the roof of the shopping center will be implemented in the modernization project.

The Tigrohaud market was built in 1992. Since the construction, the renovation was carried out in 2000.

The market modernization program involves the replacement of containers with modern premises with the creation of comfortable conditions that meet the requirements of fire and sanitary safety.

The total amount of private investments in the project is more than 2.4 billion tenge.

It should be noted that today, in accordance with the law on regulation of trade activities in Almaty, 33 markets have been modernized, 9 more should be completed by 2025.
