Service police centers in Almaty will provide 55 types of services

Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev visited the police service center in the Nauryzbay district during a working detour. The reception of citizens here will begin on June 23. Such centers are being created in all districts with the support of the project office of the Mayor's Office of the city. To date, eight premises have been purchased and transferred to the balance of the Police Department, six of them are already fully equipped and are preparing to open.

"This project was implemented in a pilot mode on behalf of the Head of State on the transition to a service model of police work, the main purpose of which is an open dialogue with society and prompt response to residents' requests. It is important for us to create comfortable conditions for citizens to receive law enforcement services and necessary legal assistance in a calm environment. Special attention is paid to helping victims of domestic violence and preventing juvenile delinquency," Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev said.

The centers will provide 55 types of services. Specialists will help resolve issues of migration and administrative legislation, crime prevention, and protection of the rights of women who have suffered in families. All conditions have been created for this - separate offices have been allocated, where inspectors and psychologists take part.

Migration police inspectors will provide services for registration or re-registration of foreign citizens, issue documents upon arrival or departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan, to obtain citizenship and permanent residence.

Car owners will be provided with consultations on the facts of an accident, they will help to check the presence of administrative fines, encumbrances and restrictions on vehicles, to issue documents for the conversion of a vehicle.

Lawyers, mediators, consultants for admission to study and service in the internal affairs bodies, as well as employees for issuing permits for carrying and storing weapons will work in the centers.

The reception of citizens will also be conducted by competent staff authorized to make procedural decisions - investigators, police officers, district inspectors. Access to databases will be provided, which will allow you to learn about the progress of consideration of a previously submitted appeal or to receive information about the reasons for bringing to justice.

Together with the digitalization department, an intelligent video surveillance system operates, with the help of which you can not only find the missing thing, but also solve the crime in hot pursuit and identify the offense.

The work schedule of the centers is from 9:00 to 20:00. After 23:00, it is possible to organize the reception of citizens by local police inspectors. Special attention is paid to the development of this service, which is in direct contact with residents, on behalf of the mayor of the city.

In the future, it is planned to expand the functionality of police service centers for apostilling archival certificates and other services.
