876.9 billion tenge of investments have been attracted in Almaty since the beginning of the year

According to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investments of Almaty, 876.9 billion tenge of investments in fixed assets were attracted in Almaty for 8 months of 2023, which is 12.2% in the republic.

"In the areas of use, the main investments were in real estate transactions, their share was 46.5%. The greatest growth was shown by healthcare – 4.1 times, information and communication – an increase of 36.3%, accommodation and catering services – an increase of 25.9%," informs the city Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment.

Positive dynamics is observed in 4 districts: Almalinsky, Alatau, Auezovsky and Zhetysu. By the end of 2023, investments in fixed assets will increase to 1.5 trillion tenge.
