The "Green Yard" campaign has started in Almaty

The Department of Ecology and Environment of the city of Almaty announces the launch of the "Green Yard" campaign. Since September 20, applications are accepted from residents of the city to receive seedlings of deciduous trees for landscaping courtyards of apartment buildings and other common areas. Seedlings are issued free of charge.

As part of the campaign, up to 20 seedlings per person will be allocated, while the applicant must sign a guarantee obligation to take care of the planted trees for three years.

Applications will be accepted until October 1, 2023 inclusive. Applications accepted after the specified deadline will not be accepted.

To participate, you must send an email to Jasyl.aula.almaty@gmail.com the following data:

Full name and contact details of the initiative person, the exact address of the desired landing;
Several photos of the planned landing site (preferably a panoramic photo, so that specialists can assess the location);
Specify the required number of seedlings.

The distribution of seedlings is scheduled for October 7, 8, 14, 15, 2023 at the address: 9 Yuri Kim Str., Auezovsky district, Almaty (Eco Almaty LLP). After planting, it is necessary to send a photo report of the planted seedlings.
