Tourists are welcomed at Almaty International Airport in nine languages

The Almaty Tourism Department, together with the Almaty International Airport and the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented an updated arrival zone developed as part of improving the tourist experience in the city.

The booths in the passport control area are equipped with greetings in nine popular world languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Italian, Turkish and Korean.

"The Salem tradition has millennial roots and is one of the main signs of the formation of human society. The most famous and beautiful tourist attractions of the city and the region are selected as the base. The renewal of the passport control zone will allow each guest not only to feel the Kazakh hospitality, but also improve the tourist experience about our city," the Department of Tourism of Almaty noted.

Also, within the framework of the tourism development concept, it is planned to continue work on the introduction of unified communication and navigation in the city. As of today, 52 information totems have been updated at city intersections. In addition to the map, they show routes to popular tourist attractions.
