Security systems will be implemented in 205 state schools, 8 boarding schools and 193 state kindergartens in Almaty by the end of 2023

By the end of this year, the implementation of security systems in all 206 state schools, 8 boarding schools and 193 state kindergartens will be completed. This was announced by Akim Yerbolat Dosayev at the August meeting of education workers.

"The safety of children is one of the main priorities of the state policy in the field of child protection. Therefore, this project is funded under a three-year service model with a total cost of 7.6 billion tenge," he said.

He also noted that for the first time in Almaty, from September 1, 2023, the School Bus project will be implemented in 30 schools. 100 buses have already been purchased for 5.2 billion tenge at the expense of the local budget, and 1.4 billion tenge has been allocated for transportation services.

"The total coverage in 2023 will be more than 7.7 thousand children. We plan to expand this project, and our plans for next year are to purchase 50 more buses for 11 schools," the mayor said.
