The annual social project on teaching foreign languages to citizens starts in Almaty

On August 24, the work of the "Language Park" for free foreign language teaching begins in all 8 districts of Almaty. The classes are organized by the Akimat of Almaty, within the framework of the project office, together with the akimats of districts, activists and volunteers. It is planned that during the 2023 season, more than 5 thousand residents of the city will be trained under the Park of Languages project, providing a choice of more than 15 foreign languages for teaching and at different locations.

In addition to learning foreign languages, Kazakh language will be taught in all parks.

The Park of Languages is an urban social project, within the framework of which free classes on learning foreign languages are held in an informal setting on the basis of the city's parks. Classes are held outdoors. The age category of participants ranges from 6 to 60 years. The frequency of the courses is 3 times a week for 1 month.

Upon completion of the training, all active participants are issued certificates of completion of the courses, with an indicator of the level of knowledge of languages.

1. Medeu district – Central Park of Culture and Recreation
2. Alatau district – Lawn in the athletic village
3. Nauryzbay district - Lawn in front of akimat of Nauryzbay district
4. Almalinsky district – M.Makatayev Square
5. Turksib district - A square near the palace of schoolchildren of Turksib district
6. Bostandiskiyrayon – Dostyk Park
7. Zhetysu district – A new park in Ainabulak-1
8. Auezovsky district – A square with an amphitheater behind the theater.Sats
