The rate on preferential loans for business was reduced to 6% within the framework of the regional program

This was announced at a briefing in RSK by Berik Soltanbayev, head of the Entrepreneurship and Investment Department of Almaty. The new sub-product "Jana Business" within the framework of the regional program "Almaty Business" assumes a maximum rate on preferential loans of 6% instead of 7%. According to the terms, the loan amount is limited to 100 million tenge and for a period of 7 years.

"Another innovation of the program was to provide the subjects of industrial parks with the opportunity to obtain loans at 6% per annum, up to 500 million tenge, for up to 7 years," Berik Soltanbayev added.

The head of the profile department stressed that within the framework of the regional program "Almaty Business – 2025", 88 projects received funding in the first 6 months of 2023, 707 jobs were created.
