A ballet theater and a congress center will be built in Almaty
Thus, the ballet theater will appear on a long time empty section along Al-Farabi Avenue and west of Nazarbayev Avenue.
The architecture of the building is due to the desire to create a unique and memorable building with amenities, including fountains and landscaping. The construction will be complemented by air and multi-layered elements. Equally important are the texture, color of the surface and the play of light on the elements of the structure.
The space of the theater is planned to be semi-functional and transformable. The hall area can serve for business events and ceremonies. The building plans to open a school of choreography for children.
Considering the growing role of Almaty, as a city where more than 50 international events are held annually, the construction of a modern congress center is also planned.
It should be noted that as part of the “50 projects for the development of Almaty” this year, construction of a number of social infrastructure facilities will be completed, as well as seismic reinforcement and reconstruction of buildings, improvement of streets and parks. Only due to these projects almost 5 thousand additional workplaces and 8.8 billions tenge of tax revenues to the city budget have been created.
So, by the end of the year, it is planned to complete the reconstruction of Republic Square, Dostyk Avenue, Baiseitov and Zhibek Zholy streets, Vernensky Observatory, Almaty Zoo, Medeu Health Stairs, Millennium Fountain and pedestrian zones in all eight districts of the city.
In addition, the construction of a family medical clinic, an extension to the maternity hospital No. 4 and a psycho-neurological boarding school in the Turksib district, as well as an emergency medical substation and anatomical pathology bureau in the Alatau district will be completed
In addition, 6 new kindergartens and 10 schools after seismic amplification will be commissioned.
