A technically complex project worth 7.4 billion tenge was implemented within two years with the creation of more than 500 jobs. The throughput capacity of punching will be 48 thousand cars per day.
7 thousand cubic meters of concrete and more than 4 thousand tons of metal structures were used for the construction of supports, the device of retaining walls and the superstructure of the overpass.
The governor of the city Bauyrzhan Baybek noted that in addition to the creation of pedestrian infrastructure and the development of public transport, today the city continues to work to improve conditions for motorists. Interchanges are built, the quality of roads is improved, one-way traffic is introduced, which together increases the mobility of people and reduces the logistics costs of business.
During the detour, the head of the megalopolis personally thanked the workers for the work done, noting their contribution to the development of the city.
“Thanks to the policy of our President, Almaty is constantly developing, demonstrating stable economic growth. Over the past ten years, 30 traffic interchanges have been done, new housing is being built, the historical center of the city is being updated, and business is developing accordingly. You are all directly involved in this, everything that is being built, is being made by the labor of the workers. The introduction of this piercing is a great gift for all citizens on the eve of the Day of the First President, ”said Bauyrzhan Baybek.
It should be mentioned that the movement on the overpass with a length of 800 meters through the railways with two lanes in both directions will be open today. On both sides of the roadway, sidewalks are provided, lighting poles with energy-saving lamps are installed. Work continues on the arrangement of stairs and the improvement of the adjacent territory.
