Day of Spiritual Consent

Today, on October 17, at the Eurasian Law Academy of D.A. Kunaev, a celebration dedicated to the Day of Spiritual Consent was held.

The event, organized by the Public Foundation "Center for the Study of Terrorism and Extremism in the Republic of Kazakhstan", was attended by representatives of state bodies, members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, experts in the field of religion, leaders and members of religious, ethnocultural, public, non-governmental associations, as well as youth. Including the head of the “Club of Leaders of Religious Associations” of Almaty, professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kakimzhan Bishmanov, the chief imam of the Central Mosque of Almaty Erkinbek Shokhaev, teacher of the Almaty Orthodox Theological Seminary Vitaly Bystrushkin, chancellor of the Holy Trinity Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church Laos Karl, International Society for Krishna Consciousness in Almaty Victor Golous, Chief Pastor of the Christian Gospel Pentecostal Church "Source of Life" in Almaty Vitaliy Pak, Senior Pastor of the Almaty Central Church; Alexander Hani, and others.

The Deputy Akim of Almaty, Yerzhan Babakumarov, in his welcoming speech to the participants of the meeting, noted their contribution to the spiritual and moral education of fellow citizens, based on the ideas of humanism, caring for those who need help and support.

The event is aimed at strengthening interfaith relations, the development of spiritual harmony and tolerance in society.

For the record, the Club of Leaders of Religious Associations operating in Almaty, has become a dialogue platform where representatives of various religions freely exchange opinions, discussing religious and social issues.
