B. Sagintayev: Almaty has much to learn from Moscow

The Akim of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev received the Minister of the Government of Moscow, head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations, Sergey Cheremin.

 

As the akim of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted, the experience of Moscow's development is interesting from the point of view of introducing new technologies and innovations in the urban management system.

“Our cities have good prospects for cooperation and exchange of experience on the issues of modernization of healthcare, education, transport infrastructure, housing and communal services and digitalization,” B. Sagintayev said, noting that Almaty, like Moscow, will develop polycentrically.

In accordance to the principle of a “city without outskirts” in Almaty, conditions will be created for comfortable living and access to social services, regardless of place of residence.
