More than 6 thousand people will visit the Almaty Mount Fest International Festival this year

The Almaty Mount Fest International Festival, dedicated to the popularization of Kazakhstani mountain tourism and sports, will be held for the fourth time in Almaty from September 2 to 5. The main locations for sports competitions and cultural events will be the alpine resorts "Medeo" and "Shymkent".

 "Almaty is rightfully considered a point of attraction for outdoor enthusiasts. Almaty is one of the three leading cities in terms of registration of foreign visitors in accommodation facilities," Deputy Head of the Almaty Tourism Department Marlen Maralov said at a press conference.

According to the organizers, it is expected that more than 6 thousand people will visit the festival during all the days of the festival.

"Together with akimr's office, we have developed a special program, providing for different levels of physical fitness – from outdoor enthusiasts to professional athletes. We invite everyone to become a part of this bright city holiday," Rinat Abdrakhmanov, Director of the Shymbukal Group of Companies, said at a press conference.
