According to the city’s governor, today almost a third of women are leaders in small and medium business, one fifth of the maslikhat and the Public Council are represented by representatives of the beautiful half of humanity. More than half of civil servants are women, and education and health care are held primarily on their fragile shoulders.
“Our women have always followed traditions, being first of all Mothers, keeping peace and quiet in the family. The words of the President that “If maternal love burns in every family, the whole country will be illuminated by the light of harmony and prosperity”, a vivid confirmation that nothing can overshadow the comprehensive force of motherhood. But, as Margaret Thatcher said, "The house should be the center, but not the boundary of the world of the woman." And modern women are bright proof of that. Today, Almaty is a city where a woman can learn, create, create a family and raise children, as well as be successful and self-sufficient. And we will always strive to preserve and develop these values, ”said Bauyrzhan Baybek.
It should be mentioned that in the framework of the execution of the instructions of the Head of State to support low-income and large families in Almaty, the city program “Bakytty otbasy” started, which includes 13 specific measures in 7 directions. Among them are preferential housing mortgages, retraining and employment, scholarships and free kindergartens, as well as an increase in lump-sum payments from the local budget.
