Who is the fund's help for?

- For low-income families with many children who have permanent residence in Almaty who are eligible for targeted social assistance (low-income).

What kind of help do you provide?

The Foundation provides the following types of assistance:

- Lump sum payment in case of loss of the breadwinner up to 1 year;

- One-time payment in the case of complex diseases to pay for medical services that are not included in the list of mandatory medical care;

- One-time payment of services and work to improve the living conditions of emergency housing, which is in the right of ownership;

- Monthly payments in case of injuries, injuries that do not allow the implementation of work for the period of rehabilitation;

- Issuance of certificates for food;

- Issuance of certificates for the purchase of clothes and shoes for children;

- Assistance in the adaptation of housing for children and parents of persons with disabilities;

What documents are needed for assistance?

- To receive any of the above types of assistance, you must provide the following documents: a written statement, consent to the collection and processing of personal data for each recipient, parents' ID and birth certificate of children, a certificate from the district welfare department of receiving targeted social assistance. For certain types of assistance, additional documents are required, which are listed in the table.

- You can apply to any branch of the Nur Otan party in Almaty.

How often can this assistance be received and until what time will the foundation help large families and low-income families?

- We provide assistance at the same time on one of the types. The fund is open and will work on a permanent basis. It is planned that by the end of the year we will accept documents under these conditions.

And if the family does not have a city residence permit or there is a temporary residence permit?

- It is necessary to apply to the “single social windows” of the party “Nur Otan”, which are located in the Public receptions of each district. Contact details can be found on the party website Nurotan.kz.

In turn, Gulnaz Akhmetova, director of the Bakytty otbasy-Almaty Foundation, added that in order to organize targeted assistance collected through donations from citizens and organizations, the Social Welfare Department together with the district akimats conducted a comprehensive screening, including through a household walk. On its basis, a base will be created in need of assistance.

“Just yesterday, we already purchased 400 certificates for food baskets in the amount of 11 million 400 thousand tenge and 200 certificates for the purchase of clothes for children in the amount of 10 million 800 thousand tenge. All expenses will be carried out under the strict control of the supervisory board from among the deputies, social activists, bloggers and representatives of low-income large families. Every six months, the fund’s board of trustees will conduct a public report on implemented charity projects with a report on the official website of the foundation and other media sources, ”said Gulnaz Akhmetova.

It should be mentioned that earlier Almaty’s governor Bauyrzhan Baybek declared the specific deadlines and measures for comprehensive support for low-income large families of the city, which includes a preferential mortgage, scholarships for schoolchildren and students, a free kindergarten for poor families with many children, starting from the second child, employment, opening of the Center mothers and others

In general, for the integrated support of socially weak parts of the population, including low-income large families this year more than 5.5 billions tenge will be sent to Almaty additionally.
