The governor of Almaty checked the tempo of construction of social housing

On the eve, during a meeting with the governors, President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev ordered to start allocating rental apartments for socially weak citizens and to pay attention to systemic issues of an infrastructural nature that directly affect the quality of life of the population. These are problems in the housing and utilities sector - heat and water supply, water disposal, roads, gasification issues.

Today, almost 60 houses under the “Nurly Zher” program are under construction in Almaty, and from the beginning of the year, 7 houses for 308 apartments have been commissioned. In general, in 2019, it is planned to commission more than 2 million square meters. housing, including at the expense of budget funds. At the same time, the program “7-20-25” initiated by Elbasy is actively implemented in the city. More than 25% of all applications accepted and considered by banks in the republic fall on Almaty.

Examining new objects, Bauyrzhan Baybek decided to talk to the residents of already commissioned houses in the Akbulak microdistrict, having personally heard and taken control of their circulation.

During the spontaneous meeting, the residents asked the city governor to build another school and an additional entrance leading to residential buildings. There were requests to install a traffic light in front of the Almaty Arena stadium and to organize additional public transport routes.

In turn, the city’s governor on the spot instructed in two months to organize a pedestrian crossing with the installation of the corresponding traffic light complex and speed up the construction of an additional entrance to residential buildings from B. Momyshuly street. Residents were also informed that by the autumn, in front of the Athletic Village, the construction of a new school for 600 places would be completed. In addition, this year a new bus depot will be introduced in the Alatau district, which will allow launching new public transport routes here.

It should be mentioned that earlier at a meeting of the city bureau of the Nur Otan party, Bauyrzhan Baybek instructed to allocate funds for the repair and construction of roads on more than 440 streets in the residential districts Akbulak, Karasu, Alzhan-2, Algabas-AZTM, "Aigerim-1", "Aigerim-2", "Ylzhan-1", "Shanyrak-1", "Shakyrak-2", "Tomiris", "Darkhan-Baybesik" and "Kok Kainar".

The governor of Almaty noted that the problem of the lack of asphalt roads has not yet been completely resolved. Over 100 complaints were received by the e-public reception office of the Open Almaty executive committee. In some neighborhoods, a similar situation has developed, including due to unscrupulous contractors who have laid engineering networks.

“I receive complaints from concerned residents. It is necessary to correct the situation, people should not suffer. In this regard, to the 3 billions tenge already planned from the republican budget, due to the optimization of a number of projects, it is necessary to ensure the allocation of 4 billion tenge from the local budget for the construction of roads in 12 micro-districts. The governor of the district together with the relevant departments are personally responsible for the quality of work. On an ongoing basis, I will leave, check your work, ”the governor said then.

Over the past 10 years, 12 schools, 5 clinics, 16 public and 96 private kindergartens, a number of sports and cultural facilities have been built in the affiliated district. Several interchanges and almost 100 km of roads, 688 km of water mains and 453 km of sewerage were built, 223 km of electric networks and 276 km of gas networks were laid.
